Real Player Tips and Tricks

Tips and Tricks:

The new Real.com Message Service offers RealPlayer Tips and Tricks delivered directly to your RealPlayer. To turn on Tips and Tricks, go to the Upgrade tab of your RealPlayer Preferences. Click Settings in the Real.com Product Flashes section and then check RealPlayer Tips and Tricks.

Problems and Solutions:

Do you have a jerky playback? Sometimes this is due to your computer and can’t really be corrected but sometimes you just need to allow the buffering time to catch up. If you notice your song is playing jerkily, just pause the playing and allow the buffering a few moments to catch up. It should play more smoothly after that.

Are you having problem with your video portion of Real Player?

Make sure you have the free RealPlayer G2 streaming media software installed on your computer.
Check the buffer length in RealPlayer. Run RealPlayer, open Options -> Preferences, and select the Connection tab. Choose the "Buffer at least" option and enter at least 20 seconds.
Make sure you are running a current version of RealPlayer. If you do not have a current version, you can download the latest version for free.
